What does your Shambhala look like?

What does your Shambhala look like?

Shambhala, also translated as Shangri-La, means “pure land” in Tibetan language. It is the myth of the Buddhist world and the birthplace of Kalachakra teachings. With regard to the existence of Shambhala, there has always been skepticism, and the Shambhala Buddhist scholars think that it is a fictional paradise. Tibetan historical books recorded in great detail the Shambhala. However, if Shambhala, exists or not, is still a mystery. (credit: Top 10 Unsolved Mysteries of Tibet)

“It is a pure land, a pure land in the human realm. And unless one has the merit and the actual karmic association, one cannot actually arrive there.” Dalai Lama

Shambhala

performed by Three Dog Night

Wash away my troubles, wash away my pain
With the rain in Shambhala
Wash away my sorrows, wash away my shame
With the rain in Shambhala
(Chorus)
*Ooooh… yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah*
*Ooooh… yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah*
Everyone is helpful, everyone is kind
On the road to Shambhala
Everyone is lucky, everyone is so kind
On the road to Shambhala
(Chorus)
How does your light shine
In the halls of Shambhala
How does your light shine
In the halls of Shambhala
I can tell my sister ’bout the flowers in her eyes
On the road to Shambhala
I can tell my brother ’bout the flowers in his eyes
On the road to Shambhala
(Chorus)
