Fire Water Burn – Daily Prompt: Burning Down the House

on January 30, 2013

Your home is on fire. Grab five items (assume all people and animals are safe). What did you grab?

I think that would be really easy for me. I’m not really attached to our computer. It’s big and old and bulky… I really only use that to access the internet and check Facebook and update my blog — stuff like that. And both of my daughters have their own laptops to worry about. So this is all it really boils down to:

  1. Our picture box — it’s underneath the bed so it’s really easy to grab quickly.
  2. A fresh change of clothes — or two if that’s possible. I can just keep on the jammies for right now…
  3. A jacket — I live in Colorado and it’s cold right now.
  4. My purse — my most important things are in there (credit cards, ID, check book, insurance cards, car keys, etc.).
  5. My phone — the rest of my most important things are in there (like my music. I would be sad to lost the albums, but I don’t have anything irreplaceable).

And now, something we all can enjoy:
